The CTW 130 – Sadara – Jubail Railway Project, which will allow for the rail transport of freight up to approx. 12 000 tons daily and approx. 4 000 000 tons annually, includes the production of 1383 x post-tensioned precast box girders, transverse tendon post-tensioning works subsequent to girder assemblies,  and production of 1 x ILM + Extradosed Bridge.

The girders to be produced in batch production will be 9 m, 15 m, 21 m and 26 m long, respectively, while the completion rate reached by the end of 2019 is about 50%. The first girder placement works were completed in the period between 31.10.2019-12.11.2019 for the bridges JCP-RUB-3, JCP-RUB-4 and JCP-RUB-5. In total, 24 girders have been placed, while the transverse tendon post-tensioning works of all 3 bridges were successfully completed in the period between 09-17.11.2019.

When completed, the KRT-RB-1 ILM + Extradosed Bridge will be one of the project’s most significant engineering structures. The bridge will have a total length of 317.50 meters with 8 separate spans.
