Kocaeli Çayırköy Viaduct placed on a longitudinal curve on a highly challenging high-slope route is located on the Anatolian side of the KMO-2 project, with the world’s widest 4-lane tunnels located at both ends.

In the project’s post-tensioning solution, it was decided that the project be designed and constructed through the ILM Method, which is one of the most appropriate structural solutions in the face of the region’s high earthquake risk thanks to the hyperstatic viaduct solution made possible by this method, along with the superior gains and production speed it brings.
